"My full name is Rachel Barbara Berry and I am sixteen years old. I'm not positive what the story behind my name is due to my gay father's having had a woman carry me for nine months and her being allowed to name me a little. I don't really have any nicknames."

"If you ask anyone at school, they'll all tell you that I am a stuckup Glee kid. Truth is, I really want to go far with New Directions and I hope that one day I can get onto Broadway. I know it sounds kind of bad, but I was hoping that joining Glee would help my popularity and help me find a boyfriend. You know, it's no fun getting slushies in your face every morning!
I am very persistant in my performances. The day my fathers welcomed me into the world was the day that a star was born. Seriously! I always place a golden star sticker behind my name because one day, I will have my star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Now some people would say that that's annoying when in all reality, it's just who I am. I mean, a lot of the Glee kids are mad because I always seem to get the female solos. It's not my fault that I've been practicing since I was younger!
